Anxiety issues

  • Specific anxieties (if you feel anxious when you take a test, give a speech or find yourself in a certain type of social situation)

Feeling like you can't escape the results of a difficult childhood.

General life issues:  Do you feel unhappy, unfulfilled, frustrated, disorganized, or have chronic tensions with family members and relationship difficulties?  For example, you can't seem to stop making the same poor choices that create havoc in your life, or you don't know how to express yourself and stand up for yourself while still being “nice”. 

Pain or Disability Issues:  Chronic pain of any kind, including headaches, nerve and muscle pain, “psychosomatic” issues, adapting to new physical realities you did not plan for (also known as disabilities).

Addiction & Recovery:  Whether you are addicted to alcohol, drugs,and/or other substances, or to an addictive behavior such as gambling, excessive shopping, sexual compulsion, or even excessive TV watching or internet use ...  there is a better way.  I have advanced training in supporting your recovery from the earliest stage to the later stages of recovery, where you start to find out who you really are and how to live the kind of life you really want.

I can help you to:
  • Learn how to have healthy boundaries (this can be achieved at any age!).
  • Develop a clear and specific plan for building the kind of life you want to live.
  • Feel at peace with yourself and your choices.
  • Learn how to manage difficult emotions such as anger, frustration and fear.
  • Understand and resolve compulsive behaviors.
  • Change chronically dysfunctional personal relationships.
  • Build strong inner resources for coping with stress.
